Hi! I am an IT student in the US. For my Cryptography and Data Protection class, our final project is a research paper/presentation centered around the application of an information security strategy, practice, and/or technology.
Because of my interest in librarianship, I have chosen to write from the perspective of a school librarian who is working with IT to deploy iPads to a test group of students in this make believe district. The security tie-in is probably obvious to you. It is mobile device management.
I volunteer at a public library where we manage our iPads (they don’t leave the children’s room) with Configurator, but something like Maas360 is new to me. Even after reading all of your great content I still don’t quite see how to use Apple Configurator/MDM/Apple DEP together. I’m having a hard time teasing out the differences, similarities, overlay, and how they can compliment one another. Are you able to help? Please.
